Exports copy pages into a new PDF. Bookmarks, signatures, document-level forms, and attachments may not survive. This is not a redaction or PDF sanitization tool; keep your originals.

    The details behind the tool

Rearrange the pages. Keep the document local.

Splitting a contract or assembling a packet often means handling names, account numbers, signatures, or private correspondence. A local PDF workflow avoids sending those document bytes to an online conversion server. Here, pdf-lib copies pages in a browser worker, PDF.js renders previews locally, and JSZip packages separate pages when requested. Bank statements and contracts stay on your device. This reduces upload exposure, but it does not replace your organization's security rules, document classification, or review of the exported copy.

Merge documents in a deliberate order

Merge mode appends every page of each source PDF in the visible document order. Add several files together or extend the queue with another selection. Each card reports the source filename, number of pages, and encoded size so you can identify similarly named versions. Drag cards into position on a pointer device, or use the move-up and move-down buttons with a keyboard or touch screen. Removing a card affects only the local queue. The original file on your device is never overwritten.

The merge export creates a new PDF and copies the selected source pages into it. It does not rasterize text and vectors into page-sized images, so ordinary searchable content can remain searchable. Document-level structures are a separate matter: bookmarks, forms, attachments, internal destinations, and accessibility tagging may not survive page copying intact. Cryptographic signatures cannot remain a valid attestation of a newly assembled document. Keep signed originals and check the result in a trusted viewer before sharing an official packet.

    Select pages and verify rotation

Split mode opens one source and presents a grid of page previews. Click a page to include or exclude it, or enter ranges such as 1-3, 5, 8. Numbers are one-based, ranges must ascend, and the parser rejects references outside the document. Repeated selections are deduplicated. Exports follow original page order rather than the order you typed. The selected-page count makes an empty selection visible, and the export controls stay disabled until at least one valid page is selected.

Each preview has ninety-degree and one-hundred-eighty-degree rotation actions. Rotation is added to the source page's orientation and affects its exported page dictionary rather than resampling its content. Extract selected pages downloads one PDF containing that selection. Split selected pages creates individual one-page PDFs with numbered filenames and places them in a ZIP. Neither operation removes hidden information inside a retained page. Cropping a visible region or excluding other pages is not a substitute for a dedicated, verified redaction workflow.

    Privacy boundaries and browser limits

This workspace reads files through browser file selection and does not post their contents to a server. Thumbnail generation receives local bytes, not a remote document URL. Editing and archive creation run in a dedicated worker that can be terminated when you cancel. Optional advertising elsewhere on the site has its own consent controls; local file content is not supplied to those services. Hosting requests, browser extensions, device backups, malware, and shared downloads folders are separate privacy considerations that client-side processing cannot eliminate.

To keep memory use bounded, choose at most twelve PDFs, each under twenty-five megabytes, with a combined input below one hundred megabytes and at most two hundred pages. A small encoded file can still contain a complicated page that needs substantial rendering memory. Thumbnails are rendered when near the viewport. Encrypted or password-protected documents are rejected instead of bypassing their restrictions; obtain an authorized unlocked copy using your trusted local software. Damaged or unsupported documents show an error without uploading a fallback copy. Review all downloaded pages before deleting source files.

    Three steps. A finished file.

    1. Choose merge or extraction

Select Merge PDFs for a document queue, or Split / Extract Pages for one PDF. Add local, unencrypted files within the displayed limits.

    2. Arrange the intended pages

Reorder merge cards using drag or move buttons. In split mode, select pages visually or by range and apply any page rotations.

    3. Download and inspect the result

Merge the queue, extract one selected-page PDF, or download a ZIP of individual selected pages. Verify content, orientation, and document features in a trusted viewer.

    Useful answers before you export

    A little clarity.

Are bank statements uploaded for PDF processing?

No. Document parsing, page copying, previews, and ZIP packaging use local browser bytes. No document upload endpoint is used.

    Can I split a password-protected PDF here?

No. Encrypted PDFs are rejected with an explanatory error. Use an authorized unlocked local copy rather than relying on restriction bypass.

Does extracting pages remove confidential hidden content?

No. Selected pages can retain annotations or other content. Extraction is not redaction, sanitization, or a guarantee of regulatory compliance.
